I used to get so annoyed watching men’s razor commercials, each new razor having yet an additional blade. When it got up to 5 blades, I was like, “this has got to stop–it’s utterly ridiculous!”

But now, I understand. The Gillette Venus Embrace has 5 blades, and it has given me the closest shave–ever. And not just marginally closer, but noticeably closer. Each shave leaves my skin so perfectly smooth, it feels as if I’ve shaved with a fresh razor each time (and clearly with the price of razors that doesn’t happen too often)!

Now, I was initially concerned that the wide size of cartridge would prevent it from getting into small places, but nope, it’s good. Not only does it go places, it doesn’t give me any nicks or razor burn. It glides over skin and gets rid of hair on the first swipe. (Usually my underarms require a couple back and forths, but not with this baby!)
