Eco Tools Brush Set

Whoa. Can we talk about how fabulous Eco Tools brushes are for a minute? They’re wallet-friendly, earth-friendly and they work great! You have to feel an Eco brush for yourself to believe it–they’re incredibly, incredibly soft and they don’t shed on your face!

The Eco Tools Brush Set retails for about $10 and is a little slice of heaven. That little kabuki you see in the picture? My new best friend. It is just the right size, softly buffing on powder for a luminous finish. The blush brush diffuses blush into a beautiful, streak-free glow. The fluffy eyeshadow brush reminds me of my beloved MAC 225 Tapered Blending Brush and works equally well for blending shadow. The smaller eyeshadow brush is great for shadow or for concealing/powdering in small places.

While this set is terrific for everyday use, the short handles make it an ideal travel set as well.

All of the components of the brushes are environmentally friendly. The wooden handles are made from Bamboo, which is a highly sustainable plant and therefore has a low impact on the earth’s resources. The super-soft bristles I mentioned? They’re synthetic taklon and are 100% cruelty free. The ferrules are made from recycled aluminum, and the cosmetic case is made from natural cotton and hemp.

Eco Tools can be found at drugstores, Ulta, Wholefoods and Target.

OHH my god I ADORE THESE!! i have this set along with their full size foundation brush, blush brush. and angled eyeliner brush! I gave the blush brush in this set along with a cargo blush for valentine’s day…they r soft, ecofriendly AND work the price tag sometimes does not feel real to me hahah. The eyeshading brush does magic for creating smokey eyes…they pick up just enough color….i use the small kabuki (nothing dares come close to my toofaced kabuki).. as blending tool under my eye area and to apply highlighter sooo cute is it not? ok i can write about about my love afair with these, but i am glad u wrote this review!

Girlabouttown, they are definitely worth a try!

Pouneh, glad you love them too! I also have the Too Faced Kabuki and don’t you think the Eco Tools have a similar feel to the Too Faced “teddy-bear” bristles?

For sure…most likely “teddy bear hair” uses Taklon as well…i know they have a retracble kabuki 2…some time i will buy it mayb as back up…I sure did felt stupid when it came out since the price difference is extreme (7 something for Eco Tools, and 28 for Too Faced!!)…but lets b honest i ADORE the pink case hahaha…do u have any of their other brushes?

That mini-kabuki is my new best friend too! I have ALL the eco-tools brushes (and didn’t even feel a smidge guilty about the splurge because they’re so inexpensive!) and I love ‘em! Good review :)

    Pouneh,

I only have the Too Faced Kabuki, and mine came apart too, but it’s still usable and I still love it! I don’t think I’ll be buying any more Too Faced brushes though now because Eco Tools are just as soft!

    Claire,

Thanks! :) Yeah isn’t it great that you can stock-up an entire brush supply without spending a fortune? Eco Tools are the first inexpensive brushes I’ve been happy with. I mostly have MAC brushes, but those were an investment and I actually have to say that I prefer the Eco Tools Kabuki over my MAC Kabuki.
