Do you have oily or breakout-prone skin? Does the word “moisturizer” conjure up fears of a waxy, greasy, pore-clogging experience? Well, don’t be scared–using a moisturizer will actually help skin better regulate oil levels, and a great one to try is Dermalogica Active Moist.
Skin drinks up this oil-free, fragrance-free formula, which contains silk amino acids to smooth the surface, natural botanical astringents of lemon, ivy, watercress and burdock to refine the skin, and lavender, mallow and cucumber extract to hydrate.
What makes this product special is that feels light without being watery, and it really softens skin. I feel comfortable putting this lotion on, even when my skin is acting up, because it provides essential hydration without piling on the bad stuff (and did I mention the softness?)
A dollop of this moisturizer leaves skin looking healthy, hydrated and balanced, and you can kiss your moisturizing fears good-bye.

You read my mind! I was going to ask you for a good oil free moisturizer… as someone who lives in a very cold climate, I need a strong moisturizer but many make me break out- do you think this is a good fit?
Thanks!
It is so true–many people who have oily skin think that the answer is to avoid moisturizer and wash their face more often. I found that a gentle cleanser with a regular, nutrient rich moisturizer makes all the difference in the world.
Here’s a nice little video I found with some other skin care tips. You might find it useful, too:

Despite being a light-feeling formula, this one seems to deliver a decent dose of hydration and it really soaks into skin. I also like it because it doesn’t feel like it’s sealing off my pores, you know what I mean? I think it’s worth a shot–let me know if it works out for you!
