The Golden Shimmer Collection lets you jazz-up your natural haircolor with a hint of gold. I used Golden Mahogany, a golden red shade for brown hair, and I am loving the results.
It subtly enhanced my hair with golden-red tones, making my color look richer and more vibrant, and giving me glowing highlights. Initially, I was a little concerned about the red part (but hey, it washes out!), but it looks very natural and makes my color sparkle.
This temporary dye only takes ten minutes to process (I multi-tasked and did a quick pedicure while I waited), comes with a glorious deep conditioner to use weekly, and eventually washes out in about 28 shampoos.

Clairol Instincts Does Not wash out after 28 shampoos. I’ve tried many colors and they’ve always remained permanent, maybe just got a little dull in color. But not recommended for only temporary color changes..
Thanks for the heads up! Mine appears to have washed out, but it was similar to my natural color.

I have dark brown hair and I used a lighter shade of brown with a hint of red in it. The result was mortifying. It turned my hair a practically permanent hue of dark reddy brown, almost like wine color. It’s been 10 months and my hair is STILL noticeably darker than its original shade. It also covered my natural highlights.
