Clairol Perfect 10 Hair Color

Don’t tell on me, but I color my hair. I was always a Preference kind of girl, but then along came Clairol Perfect 10 Hair Color. Perfect 10 you say?

Yes! This permanent hair color works in 10 minutes, which is absolutely wonderful, don’t get me wrong, but I wouldn’t mind waiting the extra 10 minutes and using a different product if the end results were better.

But this product has all the bases covered. It imparts rich, vibrant, natural-looking color and a satin feel on each strand. The application process is smooth and easy, thanks to the comb tip, non-drip creme formula and non-offensive scent.

Plus it doesn’t leave a wake of destructed split-ends in its path. And the deep conditioner that comes with it puts Frederic Fekkai’s to shame.

My shade is Medium Brown, which comes out dark and sexy ala Megan Fox, not black and inky like Elvira. During my last visit to the salon, a hair stylist even complimented me on my color!

The one catch with this fast-acting product is that every minute is crucial. So, if you end up leaving it on for 13 minutes instead of 10 (like I did the first time I tried it) your color will come out darker than anticipated.

Oh wonderful! :) Yeah I love it too–and doing it yourself is so much more affordable than going to a salon! I wouldn’t ever try to highlight my hair at home, but for single-process all-over color, I think the DIY route is the way to go :)
