Runway Beauty: Haute Couture Fall 2008

Chanel
Who says prim and proper girls can’t wear maxed-out smokey eyes?

Jean Paul Gaultier

The sharply defined crease works with this clean makeup look, and red-orange lipstick is always a go in my book.

Christian Lacroix

Peacock style. This simple yet exotic look would be great to recreate for a costume party.

Christian Lacroix

Beauty makeup, with a mint green twist, for the modern bride.

Christian Dior

Aviator cool. Black cherry patent lips make a statement.

Christian Dior

Swoon-worthy makeup from the eyebrows down to the bow of the lip. But somehow I don’t think they meant to send her down the runway with that piece of tape still stuck to her head.

No prob :) Yeah, that first look is beautiful. I love what she’s wearing too–the whole look seems very 1920s to me–I love it!

But I think super dark lips (like the Dior pic) and nails are going to be really big this Fall.

    xoxo,
    Glossy :)

nahh they purposely put that tape on that models face to lift the models eyebrows up to give it a more sophisticated face.

i just want to know how they did the eyes, what products they used
