It’s no secret that I think Revlon’s Colorstay Soft-Flex Foundation is the best thing since sliced bread. Add their Colorstay Lipliner with SoftFlex to that list, too.
I just snapped one up in Chocolate, and it is the perfect liner for Fall’s darker lip colors. ( And it happens to look killer with the NARS lip lacquer in Eros I mentioned a couple weeks ago). The warm, spicy dark brown isn’t harsh looking at all. The formula glides on and is blendable, but still has longevity.
Actually, the formula and the packaging remind me a lot of MAC’s Cremestick liners, which I love. Both are twist-up pencils with long-wearing creamy formulas in sleek black packaging.
But one nifty thing that this Revlon lipliner has that MAC doesn’t is a built-in sharpener. Just pop off the end to reveal the tiny sharpener, and then twist it over the tip. It works! Now you can have precise dark lips that look chic and neat.

They also added clear! It’s so hard, in my experience, to find a good clear liner.
Yeah, I have the clear liner too but haven’t used it enough to form an opinion. Do you like it? Which clear liner do you recommend?
I don’t remember what brand I’m using right now, but I plan on picking up this version in clear, because it’s so hard to find a good clear.
