Pearl Protein Complex just sounds too good to pass up, doesn’t it? Well, the Vive Pro Nutri Gloss line from L’Oreal is good, but it’s nothing to write home about.

I’ve been using the products formulated for medium to long hair that is dry/damaged. The pearl protein complex is supposed to protect hair from damage by strengthening it and adding moisture.

These products left my hair with a normal level of softness and shine, but nothing out of the ordinary. The scent is good and it didn’t weight my hair down or build up with prolonged use.

The best of the lot is the conditioning treatment, which L’Oreal recommends using weekly. It definitely delivered more moisture, softness and
shine than the regular conditioner. I ended up using the shampoo and the treatment together several washes in a row, and left the conditioner in the caddy.
