John Varvatos Women’s Eau de Parfum

Don’t you love getting enchanted and inspired by far away places and their things? John Varvatos recently created a floral chyrpe women’s fragrance, housing it in glass vessels inspired by Italian grappa bottles.

In case you’re wondering what exactly a chyrpe is (as this writer was clueless), it is French for cyprus, and “is a name used to describe a family (or concept) of perfumes, usually with a top note of citrus and woody base notes derived from oak moss and ambergris.”*

This perfume is definitely sexy and confident, but also would suit most settings–whether you’re picnicking in a billowy maxi dress or attending a black tie event in a beaded evening gown.

Notes of Aromatic Grappa, Georgian Apricot, Damascus Plum, Golden Mandarin, Rubrum Lily, Indian Mango Blossom, Egyptian Jasmine, Turkish Rose, Oakmoss, Patchouli, Tonka Beans and Wild Honey compose this fragrance.
