Frederic Fekkai Hair Mask with Shea Butter

The Frederic Fekkai Hair Mask with Shea Butter is good, but it doesn’t exactly work wonders, either. Yes it softens, adds shine and has a great scent, but Fred, I was expecting more: tumbling, glossy hair that looked so good it would stop traffic-more.

The shea butter and macadamina nut oils do give it a terrifically rich texture. However, this deep conditioner only marginally improves hair; it’s not going to transform your hair into shampoo ad-worthy hair.

I think this would be a great weekly deep conditioner for normal to dry hair. But if you have brittle or severely damaged hair, you should pass.

I really liked this mask as a weekly treatment. What I find helped is washing again with shampoo after rinsing it out.

I love your honesty about your reviews. I really appreciate you actually trying this stuff out and telling us exactly what was lacking in the item. It really helps when I’m shopping, because often I try something that someone’s blog raves about and it doesn’t work at all, and then I find out they didn’t try the product at all, only just copied the website’s description of the product.

So thank you for helping my decisions. Keep up the good work!
